MORE EPP AND CROCHET

Over the past week I have been doing more of my EPP project but have had to stop for a day or so as my fingers get very sore and painful. It is so annoying when I am on a roll. The colours in this pic are not as nice as the real thing.

On Friday I ventured out to Lincraft to buy some yarn for crocheting some headwarmers. I am trying different free patterns and started one last night . The purple is actually a lot darker than my pic.

I finished another book last weekend which is the 3rd one of this author's I have read.

I am so sorry I missed the Zoom day yesterday. I hope you all enjoyed the Chookshed's birthday party.  Stay safe.

A GROWING CONCERN

I have been steadily  stitching my EPP project and it is growing but my concern is that I am not sure what shape to make it. I am thinking a rectangular shape for a table topper. Meanwhile I am still tracing, cutting and basting more blues and whites to add on until I decide to stop. I have limited variety of blues so I am trying to do different combinations and spread them out so they are not too close together in another rosette.

                                       Happy stitching!

ZOOM STITCHING

A big thankyou to Donna for hosting another lovely Zoom sewing day yesterday. It was the highlight of my week and it was wonderful to see what others are making and chatting to gals from other countries.  I kept stitching last night and have made more progress on my blue and white EPP project.

I finished another book last week which is the 3rd one by this author. It was alight read like her others which I also enjoyed.

My daughter and 5 year old grandson are in isolation with Covid until Wednesday. Her hubby and my 2 year old grandson had it first and they have both recovered and are out of isolation today. However, my son in law still gets out of breath easily as does his mum who had it and my daughter is fatigued with shortness of breath. I just wish the Govt. would acknowledge that we still need to wear masks and sanatise hands wherever we go.

Thanks for visiting and stay safe.

FOUND A WAY

Yey! For the time being I have been able to save a pic on my tablet by freeing up space taken up by pod casts I have listened to. I have been stitching more little half inch hexies for my blue and white UFO which is coming along nicely.  In this case I should refer to it as my FPP project instead of EPP .....finger piercing project .

I am thinking about how to join them together. Maybe a single blue hexie between each or perhaps 2 in between? Or I may just join them together without any between. A large hexie shape or rectangular? Hmmmm, decisions, decisions. I think I will just keep piecing until I think there are enough. At least I am stitching again.

TABLET TROUBLE

Just a quick post to say that I am unable to take pics on my tablet to put on my blog until I free up space . Apparently I have reached my limit with storage and need to transfer all my pics to my laptop and then save on a memory stick. I have worked out how to load onto my laptop but they are not saving and I can't work out how to get them onto the memory stick . Once I achieve this task I shall be back.

I had a lovely couple of hours stitching with others on Zoom yesterday thanks to Chooky.

See you soon.

SANITY STITCHING

Twelve months ago my mum broke her hip playing table tennis and I had weeks of hospital visits to assist my dad to. Well, almost a year to...
